Dinosaur World Live at Chelmsford Theatre – October Half-Term 2026

Dinosaurs are coming to Chelmsford this October half-term as the award-winning Dinosaur World Live arrives at Chelmsford Theatre for three days of prehistoric family entertainment.

Running from Thursday 29 to Saturday 31 October 2026, the interactive stage show brings an extraordinary collection of lifelike dinosaur puppets to the theatre, giving young explorers the chance to experience the excitement of a prehistoric adventure.

Families can join an intrepid explorer on a journey into a lost world populated by some of the most fascinating creatures ever to walk the Earth.

Among the dinosaurs featured are the mighty Tyrannosaurus Rex, the three-horned Triceratops, the enormous Giraffatitan and the unusual Segnosaurus and Microraptor.

Using impressive puppetry, colourful characters and audience interaction, the production brings these prehistoric giants to life in a way designed to entertain children and adults alike.

Meet the dinosaurs after the show

One of the highlights of Dinosaur World Live is the special meet-and-greet opportunity following each performance.

Young dinosaur fans will have the chance to meet one of the show's prehistoric creatures up close, making the experience even more memorable.
