Little Waltham Open Gardens & Classic Car Show Returns to Chelmsford in June 2026

The picturesque village of Little Waltham, near Chelmsford in Essex, is preparing to welcome visitors for its popular Open Gardens & Classic Car Show on Sunday 14th June 2026.

Organised in support of Farleigh Hospice, the event promises a perfect summer day out combining beautiful private gardens with a stunning display of classic vehicles.

Around 12 private gardens will open their gates to the public, ranging from charming small cottage-style plots to larger, more impressive designs. Visitors can wander at their own pace through these hidden green spaces, enjoying the creativity and hard work of local gardeners.

At the heart of the event, the Classic Car Show will feature over 100 classic and vintage cars on display at Little Waltham Sports & Social Club / Cricket Ground (CM3 3NY). From veteran Austin 7s and MGs to elegant Rolls-Royces and Aston Martins, car enthusiasts will have plenty to admire. Owners will be on hand to share stories about their pride-and-joy vehicles.
